L.T. Caplan is a Hampton Roads native, being born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. L.T. Caplan graduated from Kempsville High School located in the city of Virginia Beach, and later enrolled and received an undergraduate business degree from the University of Arizona, Eller School of Business and a legal degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

L.T. Caplan has extensive real estate transactional and business experience, having: (i) closed more than nine million square feet of commercial real estate property representing hundreds of millions of dollars; (ii) closed thousands of residential transactions; (iii) drafted numerous residential and commercial leases and contracts; and (iv) representing numerous large and small residential and commercial investors and management companies with their landlord tenant and collection matters.
